Abstract

The Kerinci Timur Village Office has created a Fast Working System (SIKECE) as a digital-based service. This study aims to analyze the readiness of the implementation of SIKECE for the community and the Kerinci Timur Village Office using Richardus Eko Indrajit's readiness theory with three indicators: support, ability, and value. This study uses a mixed method. Primary data was obtained through observation, interviews with the Kerinci Timur Village Head and 1 SIKECE user, and questionnaires to 91 SIKECE users and 17 SIKECE management teams, with a total of 110 respondents using purposive sampling. Secondary data was obtained from related documents. The results of the study showed that SIKECE's readiness was still "Not Ready". Some of the main obstacles are the absence of special SIKECE management staff, low community readiness, infrastructure constraints, and instability of the internet network, especially on Payung Island. In addition, the SIKECE server is still managed by the private sector, so the Village Office is not fully independent. In conclusion, the support and capacity indicators are still not optimal. It is recommended to improve SIKECE features, employee training, and more effective server management so that this system is more ready to use.
