Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF SALARY AND BONUSES ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT ASTRA CREDIT COMPANIES IN PEKANBARU This study aims to explore and analyze the effect of salary and bonus on employee performance at PT. Astra Credit Company in Pekanbaru. The main focus of this study is employees who work as sales marketing, with a sample size of 70 people selected using the purposive sampling method. The data used in this study consists of primary and secondary data, collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the path analysis method (Path Coefficient) which was processed with the help of SmartPLS-4 Software to ensure accuracy in measuring the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that salary and bonus have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This finding indicates that increasing salary and providing appropriate bonuses can directly encourage employee performance to be more optimal. Thus, this study provides practical implications for companies in planning effective compensation policies to increase employee productivity and achieve overall organizational goals.
