Abstract
Research entitled "The effect of Taspu and Organic NPK fertilizers on the growth and production of okra plants (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) on PMK soil" was carried out at the Riau Islamic University Experimental Garden, Pekanbaru, for 4 months from August to November 2023. The research aims to determine the interaction and main effects of applying Taspu and Organic NPK fertilizers to PMK soil on the growth and production of okra plants. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of Taspu fertilizer with 5 treatment levels, namely 0, 100, 200, 300, and 400 g/plant and the second factor is the dose of Organic NPK with 4 treatment levels, namely 0.10, 20, and 30 g/plant. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), flowering age (DAP), harvest age (DAT), number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per plant (g), weight of fruit per plot (g), weight of fruit per fruit (g), number leftover fruit. The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The research results showed that the interaction of Taspu fertilizer and Organic NPK had a real influence on several parameters, namely plant height, flowering age, plant fruit weight, fruit weight per fruit, fruit weight per plot. Meanwhile, the age of harvest, the number of remaining fruit and the number of fruit planted are significantly different. The best treatment is a combination of Taspu fertilizer, namely 400 g/plant and Organic NPK 30 g/plant. The main effect of Taspu fertilizer has a real influence on all observation parameters. The best treatment is taspu fertilizer at a dose of 400 g/plant. The main influence of Organic NPK fertilizer is evident in all several observation parameters. The best treatment is Organic NPK at a dose of 30 g/plant.
