Abstract

Research on Organic NPK and Gandasil D on growth and mint crop production has been carried out at the Faculty of Agriculture's Experimental Garden Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru. The aim of the research is to determine the effect interaction of Organic NPK and Gandasil D on plant growth and yield mint. The research was carried out for 5 months from January to May 2023. This research uses a 4x4 Factorial Completely Randomized Design completely randomized design, consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor is dose Organic NPK consists of 4 levels, namely 0; 1.8 ; 3.6 and 5.4 grams per polybag and The second factor is the concentration of Gandasil D consisting of 4 levels, namely 0; 1.5 ; 3 and 4.5 grams per liter of water. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications to obtain 48 experimental units. The parameters observed were plant length, rate relative growth, number of primary branches, wet leaf weight, dry leaf weight, and root volume. The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) Advanced Test at the 5% level. Research result shows a real interaction of Organic NPK and Gandasil D on rate relative growth, number of primary branches, and root volume. The best treatment found in the combination of organic NPK 5.4 g/polybag and Gandasil D 3 g/l water. The main effect of giving organic NPK has a real effect against all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 5.4 g/polybag. In particular, giving Gandasil D has a real impact against all observation parameters. The best treatment is concentration 3 g/l water.
