Abstract

The research is entitled "The Effect of Soaking Auxin and Manure Chickens Against Oil Palm Seedlings (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq) In PreNursery Pada Red and Yellow Podzolic Media (PMK)”. Research has been carried out in the Garden Experiments from the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Air Perempuan, Kelurahan Cold Water, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. Research carried out for 4 months from April to August 2023. This research aims to determine the interaction and main effects of chicken manure and auxin towards seeding in pre-nursery of oil palm plants. The design used in this research was a Completely Randomized Factorial Design, consisting of of 2 factors. The first factor is the dose of chicken manure consisting of 4 levels namely 0, 10, 20 and 30 g/polybag. The second factor is the auxin concentration consisting of from 4 levels, namely 0, 5, 10, 15. The parameters observed were, soil pH, high plant, tuber diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, and root volume. Data The observations were analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Significant Difference Test Honest (BNJ) at the 5% level. The research results show an interaction between giving chicken manure and auxin have a real influence on height The plants with the best treatment were found in chicken manure 30 gram/polybag and auxin 15ml/L. The main effect of giving chicken manure influences plant height, tuber diameter, number of leaves, length leaves, root volume but has no effect on soil pH, the best treatment at a dose of 30 grams/polybag. The main effect of auxin administration is influential on plant height, tuber diameter, leaf length, root volume but not influence the number of leaves. The best treatment is at a concentration of 15 ml/L
