Abstract
The use of textbooks monotonously makes it difficult for students to understand the learning material. The use interactive of multimedia tends to make it easier for students to understand the learning material, especially for elementary school students. This study aims to produce interactive multimedia in thematic learning in grade II elementary school. The research, which was conducted at SDN 011 Pekanbaru, used an R&D design with the ADDIE model in stages to produce interactive smart multimedia. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the interactive multimedia produced was in accordance with the assessments made by material experts, media experts and linguists with generally very good abilities. The study revealed the results that animation creators could use with results from linguists 82%, material experts 86%, and media experts 85%. This interactive multimedia can be used in thematic learning, especially for students in grade II elementary school.
