Abstract

Research on Vermicompost and NPK Fertilizer 16:16:16 against growth and yield of chive plants. Research has been carried out in the Garden Experiment at the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru. Study implemented for 4 months starting from May to August 2023. Objectives research to determine the effect of the interaction of Vermicompost and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and yield of chive plants. This research using a 4x4 Factorial Completely Randomized Design in a randomized design complete, consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor is Vermicompost Fertilizer consisting from 4 levels, namely 0, 1, 2 and 3 kg per plot and the second factor is NPK 16:16:16 consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 15, 30 and 45 grams per plot. Each treatment consists of from 3 replications to obtain 48 experimental units. Observed parameters namely plant height, number of leaves, relative growth rate, wet tuber weight, dry tuber weight, number of tubers, harvest age, wet tuber weight per planting, weight dry tubers per plant, and tuber weight loss. Observational data is analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ) on level 5%. The research results show the interaction of vermicompost fertilizer and NPK 16:16:16 real for all parameters but not real for tuber weight loss parameters. The best treatment is in the gift combination of Vermicompost Fertilizer 3 kg/plot and NPK 16:16:16 45 g/plot. Main influence Providing Vermicompost Fertilizer and the Main Effects NPK 16:16:16 provides real influence on all observation parameters, with the best treatment Vermicompost fertilizer at a dose of 3 kg/plot and NPK 16:16:16 at a dose of 45 g/plot.
