Abstract

The problem of poverty is one of the obstacles in achieving a country's macroeconomic goals. Poverty can hinder regional development and give rise to various social problems. The aim of this research is to assess the impact of economic growth, human development index and government spending on poverty levels in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods with secondary data, and multiple linear regression analysis is used to evaluate the effect of changes in one variable on other variables. Data from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency for 2010-2024 is the basis for this research. The results of the analysis show that economic growth has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty levels in Indonesia. The human development index has a positive but not significant effect on poverty levels. Government spending has a negative but not significant effect on poverty levels.
