Abstract
Protection of rights and obligations, burden of responsibility (risk), and forms of dispute resolution between workers and business owners often occur. Workers or employees are a valuable resource for every organization and carry out their duties in accordance with the duties and responsibilities given to them. The problem in this study is, how is the legal protection of workers' rights in employment relations at Arhara Coffee Shop, how is Arhara Coffee Shop's responsibility for workers if a work accident occurs. The research method used is applying normative juridical research methods. Field research (Field Research), namely the author directly conducted a study at the research location, namely Arhara Coffee and the Pekanbaru City employment service by taking a case related to the title, namely about Legal Protection for Employees for Delays in Paying Wages by Arhara Coffee based on Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Employment. The results of the research are that legal protection for delays in giving wages by Arhara Coffee to workers according to Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Employment cannot be fully implemented. The legal protection provided by Arhara Coffee to workers is only through a written agreement containing the regulations and what rights are obtained by workers who work at Arhara Coffee. And Arhara Coffeeee's responsibility towards workers in the event of a work accident is through preventative protection efforts by providing a first aid kit which can be used for treatment in the event of a work accident and repressive protection efforts, namely providing compensation of IDR. 300,000 (maximum) for treatment outside Arhara Coffee which is provided by Arhara Coffee and does not cut into the working hours of workers who are permitted to seek treatment during working hours.
