Abstract

Fish Rendang Agroindustry is a business that processes fish raw materials into high?value products and has good business opportunities if well developed. The research aims to analyze: 1) Characteristics of entrepreneurs and the business profile of Rendang Ikan Pak Ombak. 2) The feasibility of the Pak Ombak Fish Rendang business non-financial aspects. 3) The feasibility of the Pak Ombak Fish Rendang business the financial aspect. 4) The level of sensitivity of investment in the Pak Ombak Fish Rendang business. This research uses a case study method on the Pak Ombak fish rendang agro-industry business in Sialang Munggu Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City, which was carried out from September 2024 to March 2025. Respondents were taken using purposive sampling, namely entrepreneurs and workers. The research results show the characteristics of a 33 year old entrepreneur with 15 years of education, 7 years of business experience, and 9 family size. The average workforce was around 53 years with an average education of 12 years, average business experience was around 4 years and the non number of family size. Pak Ombak's business profile was established in 2017 and this agro-industry was a micro-scale business. The agro-industry only has 2 workers and has an income of Rp. 64.884.000 per year. The agro-industry capital use equity. Non-financial feasibility in technical aspects and technology selection has been fulfilled and was able to increase the productivity of the business itself. Market and marketing aspects are feasible to be implemented in terms of demand, supply, and analysis of competition and market opportunities.The legal or legal aspects of this agro-industry have been fulfilled. The management and human resource aspects of this business was run by the entrepreneur himself. The environmental aspect is capable of processing business waste. Financial feasibility shows that it is worth pursuing for the next 10 years. The results of investment criteria consist of Net Present Value (NPV) was IDR. 147,413,899. > 0, Internal Rate Of Return (IRR) of 56.01%, Net Benefit Of Cost Ratio (Net B/C) of 1,23 and Payback Period (PP) of 2 years 4 months 4 weeks 2 days. Based on sensitivity analysis with an approach to decreasing selling prices and increasing operational costs. The profits of the Pak Ombak fish rendang agroindustry are more sensitive to decreasing selling prices with an NPV value of Rp. 78.379.025, IRR 41,78 %, Net B/C 1,12, PP 3 years 0 months 0 weeks 3 day.
