Abstract

Research on the influence of Trichoderma sp. and jengkol skin POC against growth and production of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicium L) have been carried out in the gardens of the Men's Dormitory at Riau Islamic University for 3 months, from August to October 2022. The aim of the research is to find out interaction effect and main effect of Trichoderma sp. and jengkol skin POC on the growth and production of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). The design used in this research was a Randomized Design Complete Factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor is Trichoderma sp. with 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 6, 9, 12 g per plant and a second factor jengkol peel POC concentration with 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 3%, 6%, 9% (POC Jengkol peel 30 ml + 970 ml water/liter) to obtain 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that 48 experimental units were obtained. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, growth rate relative (LPR), harvest age, number of tubers per hill, wet weight of tubers per clusters, dry weight of tubers per cluster, tuber weight loss, and shallot grade. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ). at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Trichoderma sp. And The POC of jengkol bark is significant for the parameters of number of leaves and relative growth rate (LPR), number of tubers per cluster, wet weight of tubers per cluster, and weight loss. The best treatment is a combination of Trichoderma sp. 12 g per plant and Jengkol peel POC 9% (Jengkol peel POC 90 ml/liter)
