Abstract

This research aims to determine the growth response of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis jacq) seedlings to Banana Stem Bokashi and Npk 16:16:16 in the Main nursery. The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, for 4 months starting March–June 2023. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors. The first factor, namely banana stem bokasi, consists of 4 levels, namely 0 g, 225 g, 450 g, 675 g/polybag and the second factor is the dosage of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely 0.5g, 10g, 15 g/polybag so that There were 16 treatment combinations with 3 repetitions. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, longest leaf midrib, tuber diameter, root volume and longest root length. The observation data from each treatment was analyzed statistically and continued with a further Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test at the 5% level. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the interaction of giving banana stem bokashi and NPK 16:16:16 has a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, root volume, longest root length, while the parameters of number of leaves, longest leaf midrib length, and tuber diameter are interactions are not significantly different. The main effect of banana stem bokashi was significant on all parameters. The best treatment was banana stem bokashi 450 g/plant. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is NPK 16:16:16 15 g/plant.
