Abstract

Research entitled "The Effect of Pekanbaru City Liquid Waste and Water Hyacinth Bokashi on the Growth and Production of Tomato Plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.)". Aims to determine the interaction and main effects of Pekanbaru city liquid waste and water hyacinth bokashi on the growth and production of tomato plants. It was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. It was carried out for 4 months, starting from July to October 2024. The experimental design used was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors, the first factor was the dose of Pekanbaru city liquid waste with 4 treatment levels of 0, 300, 600 and 900 ml per liter, while the second factor was the dose of water hyacinth bokashi with 4 treatment levels of 0, 250, 500 and 750 g per plant, so that there were 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that 48 experimental units were obtained. Observation data were analyzed statistically and conducted with further test of Honestly Significant Difference at 5% level. Effect of Pekanbaru City Liquid Waste and Water Hyacinth Bokashi significantly on plant height, net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant. Where the best treatment of Pekanbaru city liquid waste is 900 ml/l and water hyacinth bokashi 750 g/plant. The main effect of Pekanbaru city liquid waste is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment of Pekanbaru city liquid waste is 900 ml/l. The main effect of water hyacinth bokashi is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment of water hyacinth bokashi is 750 g/plant.
