Abstract

The research entitled "The Effect of Urea and POC Nasa Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Peanut Plants (Arachis hypogaea L.)" was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City for 3 months from February to May 2024. This study aims to determine the effect of interaction and the main effect of Urea and POC Nasa fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Peanut Plants. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of Urea (U) with 4 treatment levels, namely 0.18, 36 and 54 g per ha and the second factor is the concentration of POC Nasa (P) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 3, 6 and 9 ml per liter of water. The parameters observed were net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods per plant, dry pod weight per plant, dry seed weight per plant, and weight of 100 dry seeds. The observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with a further BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Urea and POC Nasa had a significant effect on all parameters with the best combination of Urea 54 g per ha and POC Nasa 9 ml per liter of water. The main effect of Urea was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was at a dose of 54 g per ha. The main effect of POC Nasa was significant on all observation parameters with the best treatment at a concentration of 9 ml per liter of water.
