Abstract
THE EFFECT OF REWARD AND PUNISHMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT THE KAMPAR DISTRICT ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE BY: IZULKIFLI NPM : 165210919 Management Study Program Faculty of Economics and Business Riau Islamic University Pekanbaru This study aims to determine the effect of giving reward and punishment on employee performanceat the Kampar District Environmental Service. The population in this study were 51 employees. Sampling uses the census method where all members of the population are used as samples. Types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques use questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis used in this study is a multiple linear regression test using Smart PLS version 4.0. The results of this study indicate that giving reward and punishment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Kampar Regency Environmental Service. The level of relationship between the two variables is in the medium category, which means that the ability of the independent variables to explain the dependent variableis good.
