Abstract

This research aims to determine the main and interaction effects of tilapia pond water waste and AB Mix on the growth and production of red ginger. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City, for six months from July to December 2022. This research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (CRD), which consisted of two factors. The first factor is the concentration of tilapia pond waste water (A) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 100, 200, 100 ml/l and the second factor is the dose of AB Mix consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 1000, 2000 and 3000 ppm. The parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers per clump, wet rhizome weight per clump, dry rhizome weight per clump, harvest index. The data was analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The research results show that the influence of the interaction between tilapia pond water waste and AB Mix has a real influence on all the parameters observed. The best treatment concentration of tilapia pond water waste is 300 ml/l and AB Mix 1000 ppm. The main effect of tilapia pond water waste is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment is a concentration of tilapia pond water waste of 300 ml/l. The main effect of AB Mix is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment is a dose of AB Mix 1000 ppm.
