Abstract

This research was conducted at Dokagu UIR Housing Block b No. 2, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. It was conducted for 2 months, August - September 2023. This research was conducted using a Split Plot Design (RPT) in Factorial RAL, The main plot is the aquaponic height position (P) which consists of 3 treatment levels, namely: heights of 50, 69, 85, 112, 134 and 152 cm. The subplot is a variety of plant types (V) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely: Green Romaine, Chris Green, Lollo Rossa and Butterhead, 6 treatment levels were obtained and the treatment of various types of lettuce consisted of 4 treatment levels so that 24 treatment combinations were obtained. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, economic wet weight, dry weight, root volume, and root crown ratio. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with an honest significant difference test (HSD) at the 5% level. The results showed the effect of the main plot of the aquaponic height position and the type of lettuce on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, root volume, economic wet weight and dry weight of the plant. All lettuce plant parameters observed in this study obtained the best results at an aquaponic height position of 152 cm with various types of lettuce. The aquaponic height position had a significant effect on all plant parameters. The treatment of lettuce type had a significant effect on all observed parameters and the Green Romaine lettuce type was the best and had a significant effect on all parameters.
