Abstract
Babussalam Village is one of the villages included in the administrative area of Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. Populated solid waste has the characteristic of containing high enough Phosphate and Nitrate. The research area is included in two formations, namely the Peasant Formation and the Minas Formation. The purpose of this study is to determine the distribution and direction of groundwater surface flow, the feasibility of groundwater quality physically and chemically, and determine the level of groundwater pollution around Babussalam Village, Mandau District, Riau Province. The methods used in this study are field sampling and laboratory analysis. The parameters tested are color, taste, odor, dissolved solids (TDS), electrical conductivity (DHL), pH, Phosphate (PO4), and Nitrate (NO3). The highest MAT values were at stations 1, 23 and 25 where the flow direction spread and flowed towards the central part of the study area, namely stations 16 and 28. The results of physical analysis in the study area of 30 stations, color parameters have clear colors 30 stations (100%), taste parameters 30 stations have a taste of no taste (100%), odor parameters 27 stations (90%) odorless and 3 stations (10%) odorless, TDS parameters 30 stations (100%) < 500 mg / l ranging from 17 – 206 mg / l. DHL parameters range from 34 – 380 ?S/cm. Based on the results of chemical parameter analysis pH values ranging from 7.69 – 7.83 at 30 stations, Phosphate Parameters 1 station (3%) has a value of > 0.2 mg / l and 29 stations (97%) have a value of < 0.2 mg / l. Nitrate Parameters 2 stations (7%) have a value of > 10 mg / l and 28 stations (93%) < 10 mg / l. Based on the results of the study, there are 5 stations, namely stations 2, 3, 8, 10 and 11 (17%) do not meet the Quality Standard Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 492 of 2010 and PP No. 82 of 2001 as water Drink or clean water
