Abstract
White oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is a high economic value agribusiness commodity with health benefits, such as overcoming cholesterol, cancer, and AIDS. Oyster mushroom cultivation requires controlling temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide (CO?) levels, and light intensity for optimal growth, but manual management is often inefficient. This research aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system capable of monitoring environmental parameters in real-time using DHT22, MQ-135, and LDR sensors integrated with a microcontroller. Environmental data is displayed through a web-based platform and Telegram application, enabling efficient monitoring of conditions as well as automatic notifications when significant changes occur. Test results show the system can work optimally in controlling environmental parameters with consistent and accurate measurement results. Black Box testing proves that the integration of hardware and software runs as expected, while a comparison of mushroom growth with manual methods shows more optimal results with the IoT system. This system contributes to improving harvest quality, efficiency, and ease of management of oyster mushroom cultivation and becomes a reference for the application of IoT technology in the agricultural sector.
