Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the accountability of the Education Office in supervising elementary school education facilities and infrastructure in the City of Dumai. The focus in this study relates to the authority of the Dumai City Education Office in preparing reports on elementary school education facilities and infrastructure. The field description obtained shows that there are problems with elementary school education facilities and infrastructure. There are problems with elementary school education facilities and infrastructure which is of particular concern. This encourages researchers to explain and analyze more deeply in academic studies of this phenomenon in the form of scientific work. thesis. This qualitative approach is defined as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. The data collected in this paper uses mostly secondary data, whereas primary data is to complement and support the analysis of the secondary data obtained from interviews with informants who are competent in answering this problem. From the research results it is known that the accountability of elementary school education facilities and infrastructure in its implementation still has various problems. As for the problems. The author will answer research problems with indicators of accountability, namely legitimacy, quality, sensitivity, openness, effectiveness and efficiency.
