Abstract
Waste comes from human actions which can be integrated with nature, but if it is not processed properly, the environment will be polluted. In the Internet of Things (IoT), various technologies such as data sensors, internet networks with various topologies, RFID, wireless sensor networks, and other technologies continue to be developed. IoT has been widely applied in various fields of science and industry, including informatics, geography, and health, as has been proven in several studies. To overcome the problem of handling waste, an automatic trash can system was created using sensors that automatically open the trash can and separate it. between wet and dry waste. This system is IoT-based with the Blynk platform. This tool can minimize the occurrence of careless waste disposal. a system that can sort waste automatically, based on type, to simplify waste management and minimize its negative impact on the environment. By utilizing a dry and wet waste sorting system, this solution is effective and efficient. Automatic sensors will automatically sort wet and dry waste when humans throw away the waste.
