Abstract
This research aims to develop learning media in accounting subjects in class X at SMKN 6 Pekanbaru. This media can also help students understand basic accounting concepts. With this audiovisual media, it is hoped that the learning process will become more effective. This research includes development research with reference to Sugiyono's opinion. The product of this research is an animated video containing accounting lessons that take general journal material. This research has been evaluated by media experts, material experts, and also students of class X Accounting at SMKN 6 Pekanbaru. The sample taken in this study used purposive sampling which took accounting class X at SMKN 6 Pekanbaru which consists of three classes. Each class X consists of 36-37 students. The participants in the trial were around 140 students. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire. This questionnaire is used to evaluate learning media. Data was collected using a Likert scale that had been modified by the researcher. The results of this research can be seen from the results of validation carried out in the field. Students at SMKN 6 Pekanbaru received good results. Thus, the development of audiovidual learning media in the form of animated videos in class X accounting subjects at SMKN 6 Pekanbaru as a result of this development is suitable for use.
