Abstract

This type of research is quantitative research that aims to determine the effect of quality of work life on employee performance at PT. PLN main unit in Riau and Riau Islands and to find out how much influence the quality of work life has on employee performance at PT. PLN main unit for Riau and Riau Islands. The subjects in this study were employees at PT. The PLN main unit for Riau and Riau Islands, totaling 41 people, was taken using saturation sampling. The variables used in this study are the quality of work life as the independent variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. The data collection technique used in this study was by using a questionnaire technique (questionnaire). The test results using the SPSS program show that the significant value for the quality of work life variable is 0.000 so it can be concluded that there is an influence between reading interest on employee performance at PT. PLN main unit for Riau and Riau Islands. The results of the calculation of the determinant coefficient show that the magnitude of the influence between X on Y is 0.713 or 71.3% while the remaining 28.7% is influenced by other factors not disclosed in the study. The benefit of this research is that we know how important the quality of work life is to the development of employee performance, and for future researchers it is used as a reference to add other variables that can affect the quality of work life besides the quality of employee work.
