Abstract

The limited availability of clean water, coupled with inefficient water use, has led to an imbalance between water supply and demand. Many areas face water shortages, while in other areas, water is often overused without proper management. Water is distributed by water supply agencies or from wells which are then drained and stored in storage basins or commonly called water tanks or water reservoirs. Traditionally, checking the availability of water in the reservoir by coming and seeing firsthand the water condition in the reservoir is an easy and cheap method or way. However, it will be difficult if the water reservoir is located in a remote location and difficult to reach, so it is necessary to have tools to make it easier to monitor and control more easily and efficiently. The Internet of Things (IoT) is emerging as a technology that offers a solution to this problem. By utilizing IoT, water storage systems can be monitored and controlled automatically and in real-time. This research develops water filling using an ultrasonic sensor as a water level detector used so that users can know the water level then use the ds18b20 sensor to find out the temperature in the water, esp32-cam for water level which will be sent via telegram notification and the water level graph can be seen on the web. Where devices can carry out smart storage systems on water tanks and use the Internet of Things (IoT). With the Internet of Things (IoT) service, smart storage in the water tank will send water level data via the web and telegram notifications to users who will later be monitored via the web. The application of this technology can be an alternative to the smart water storage system in the water tank.
