Abstract

This This lesson wants to explore each role of the subject or aspect that has been determined in this study which is raised as a problem topic. This lesson uses the theory of existence from Save M. Dagun (1990:19) from the study of philosophy that explains that every product must have an existence that is affected by some things in maintaining it. This lesson uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. To collect data through interviews, documentation and observation. This lesson has 6 subjects. Conclusion of this lesson that dance Gambir Anom in Bukit Indah Village still exists today, (i) based on work activities, namely preparations made before dance performances Gambir Anom, form of dance presentation Gambir Anom as well as a training system and managing practice schedules, holding consultations with members of the young women's dance arts and routinely making performances every six months. (ii) based on existing facts, namely marked by the history of dance Gambir Anom, how often the dance is performed, the music and costumes used from the past until now, the variety of movements in the dance Gambir Anom, and the purpose of dancing Gambir Anom. (iii) based on efforts to maintain its existence, which is proven by the steps taken by the Bukit Indah Village dance community, namely frequently forming groups of young women's dance members for deliberations, holding regular performances every six months, and promoting and introducing dance Gambir Anom.
