Abstract
The difficulties experienced by many students, especially those in information engineering or computer science study programs, in learning knowledge in the field of frontend development mean that they cannot really understand how to become expert tech engineers who play a role in frontend development. For this reason, it is very necessary to have an ELearning system that can help students achieve career goals in the field of frontend development. This system will have various features that can help with an effective learning process, one of which is a chat group feature that allows users, both students and Teachers can interact to discuss learning modules in the E-Learning system. In developing this system, of course it will be tested using the black box concept so that the system is truly tested and can be used. Apart from that, the development will use the waterfall method. The E-Learning system that was built can provide learning material information that is easy for beginners to understand. Apart from that, this system can also be accessed asynchronously so that students can access it whenever and wherever they are as long as they remain connected to the internet. To prove its efficiency, this system has been tested by several students at the Islamic University of Riau informatics engineering study program and processed using the 5 Likert method, the results of the data processing produced a percentage of 85%, which means this system is feasible and very popular with students.
