Abstract

The type of research used in the study was quantitative research. The population of this study was UIR PetanqueUKM athletes totaling 15 male athletes. The tests used were the medicine ball throwing test, the hand-eye coordination test, namely the tennis ball throwing and catching test and the shooting game test. Analysis of the data obtained using multiple correlations, obtained no relationship between arm muscle explosive power and shooting accuracy in UIR Petanque UKM athletes with a value obtained rcount = -0.1032214 with a large rtable of 0.514. There is a relationship between hand-eye coordination and shooting accuracy in UIR PetanqueUKM athletes rcount = 0.5474 with a large rtable of 0.514. There is a relationship between arm muscle explosive power and eye-hand coordination on the shooting accuracy of UKM PetanqueUIR athletes rcount = 0.571 with a large rtable of 0.514. From the results of the study and hypothesis testing, there is an influence of arm muscle explosive power, eye-hand coordination on the shooting results of UIR Petanque athletes.
