Abstract

This study is a type of multiple correlation research. The population and sample of the study were 15 female extracurricular petanque students at UPT SMPN 1 Siak Hulu. The research instruments used were the baseball throwing and catching test, arm muscle strength test (push-up), and 7-meter shooting game test. This technique is used to find the correlation coefficient between hand-eye coordination and arm muscle strength on Petanque Shooting accuracy. The multiple correlation formula is used to measure the relationship between one dependent variable (Y) and two or more independent variables (X1, X2). The multiple correlation formula for two independent variables (X1 and X2). Based on the results of the study that have been discussed previously, it can be concluded from the explanation: There is no relationship between eye-hand coordination in 7-meter distance shooting for extracurricular Petanque students at UPT SMPN 1 Siak Hulu with a calculated r value = 0.262 with a large r table of 0.514. There is no relationship between arm muscle strength in 7-meter distance shooting for extracurricular Petanque students at UPT SMPN 1 Siak Hulu with a calculated r value = 0.463 with a large r table of 0.514. There is no relationship between eye-hand coordination and arm muscle strength in 7-meter distance shooting for extracurricular Petanque students at UPT SMPN 1 Siak Hulu with a calculated r value = 0.496 with a large r table of 0.514.
