Abstract
Fire is a disaster whose arrival cannot be predicted. Fires can occur in public or residential areas. Fire incidents are very dangerous and threaten the lives of people, animals and even nature. Fires can be caused by several factors, namely natural factors, non-natural factors, or human factors themselves, so they can cause casualties, environmental damage, and even property loss. and psychological impact. Automatic devices that detect Fire are proposed as a solution. MQ-2 sensors and IoT technology will be used. Smoke level data will be sent via the internet and telegram notifications will be provided. The main goal is to build this device and test the sensitivity of the sensors. The benefits include developing scientific insight, useful innovation, and academic contributions. The RAD method was used in this research. The conclusion shows that the fire detection device was successfully constructed well, facilitated monitoring and provided efficient sound warnings to prevent fires in the room.
