Abstract

Analyzing battery performance and its impact based on road congestion levels is the main goal. Therefore, this research aims to specifically explore the influence of the level of road congestion on the performance of electric vehicles, focusing on normal road congestion levels without obstacles with a total of 1,896 vehicles per hour, moderate road congestion levels with a total of 3,300 vehicles and the level of road congestion is severe or high with a total of 5,296 vehicles per hour. The parameters that will be looked for in this research are electricity consumption, travel time and average speed. This research produces test data on how the level of road congestion affects the performance of electric vehicles. The level of road congestion that consumes the most electricity is the level of normal freeway road congestion, which is 1.381 Wh and the longest vehicle travel time is 13.98 minutes at severe or high levels of congestion and the fastest average vehicle speed is the level of normal road congestion. barrier-free with an average speed of 51.45km/hour.
