Abstract
The goal of this project is to create a smart stick prototype that uses a NodeMCU8266 microcontroller to help the visually impaired identify and avoid obstacles more successfully. This smart stick has three sensors: a water level sensor for checking water levels, a GPS module for location monitoring, and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor for identifying nearby objects. Smartphone users can get coordinated notifications from this smart stick via the Telegram application. To guarantee peak performance, testing is carried out on critical components such as the GPS module, water level sensor and ultrasonic sensor. The smart stick prototype can operate according to the recommended design, as shown by the test results. This research has the potential to improve the mobility and safety of blind people in daily activities by offering creative alternatives.
