Abstract

Contribution of Arm Muscle Power and Eye-Hand Coordination to the Throw-In Performance in SSB Tarai U 13-14 The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of arm muscle power and eye-hand coordination to the throw-in performance in SSB Tarai U 13-14. This research employed a correlational method to measure the relationship between several distinct variables. Data collection methods included tests and measurements on a sample of 20 SSB Tarai U 13-14 players. The tests used were the arm muscle power test: overhead medicine ball throw, eye-hand coordination test, and throw-in test. The data analysis technique involved calculating correlation values. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a contribution of arm muscle power to the throw-in performance in football players of SSB Tarai U 13-14 with an r-value of 0.696 and a table r-value of 0.444, accounting for 48.44%. (2) There is a contribution of eye-hand coordination to the throw-in performance in football players of SSB Tarai U 13-14 with an r-value of 0.643 and a table r-value of 0.444, accounting for 41.34%. (3) There is a combined contribution of arm muscle power and eyehand coordination to the throw-in performance in football players of SSB Tarai U 13-14 with an r-value of 0.751 and a table r-value of 0.444, accounting for 56.40%.
