Abstract

The Relationship between Arm Muscle Strength and Eye-Hand Coordination with Lay Up Shoot Results in Men's Basketball at Extracurricular SMAN 1 Rengat. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination with the results of men's basketball lay up shoots at SMAN 1 Rengat. This type of research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this study were 12 male students of SMAN 1 Rengat. The research instruments used were an arm muscle strength test with push ups, an eye-hand coordination test, and a lay up shoot results test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and the results of basketball lay up shoots at Extracurricular SMAN 1 Rengat of 37.70% with a value of rcount = 0.614 > rtable 0.576, (2) There is The relationship between eye-hand coordination on basketball lay-up shoot results at SMAN 1 Rengat is 45.70% with a value of rcount = 0.676 > rtable 0.576 (3) There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination on basketball lay-up shoot results in SMAN 1 Rengat was 46.51% with a value of rcount = 0.682 > rtable 0.576.
