Abstract

A reliable computer network is not only limited to the sophistication of the devices available or the connections established between units, but rather to services that can provide satisfaction to its users. A bad network connection will definitely disrupt the activity process. Implementation of Quality of Service is a measurement method used to determine how good the quality of the network is with the aim of providing better network services or measuring the performance of the network. Analysis of Quality of Service on the Internet network of the Riau Province PBJ Bureau Office emphasizes the process of measuring QoS parameters, namely throughput, delay, packet loss and jitter. The tools used to measure QoS parameters are Wireshark and bandwidth monitor speedtest apps. The final result obtained after carrying out QoS measurements is that the Riau Province PBJ Bureau Office's Internet network is in the medium category based on TIPHON standards.
