Abstract

Development of a Learning Module on Classification of Living Creatures Material for Class VII Middle School Students FRISTIA NINSIH NPM. 186510698 Thesis of Biology Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Islamic University Of Riau Pembimbing: Laili Rahmi, S.Pd., M.Pd Email: fristianinsih@student.uir.ac.id ABSTRACT This research aims to produce a teaching material module on the classification of living things for class VII junior high school students. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation), but is limited to the development stage. The subjects of the teaching materials are class VII students at SMPN 25 Pekanbaru, SMPN 35 Pekanbaru and students at SMPN 34 Pekanbaru. Research data was obtained from validation sheets assessed by validators, namely material experts, learning experts, media experts, biology teachers and questionnaire responses obtained from the results of limited trials from students. The results of this research show that the quality of the validity of the teaching material module based on the validation results of learning experts is in the very valid category with an average of 92.8% (valid), the validation results of material experts get an average of 96.87% (very valid), the results media expert validation got an average of 91.66% (valid), and validation results by three biology teachers got an average percentage of 97.2% (very valid), and test results on students got an average of 99. 07% (very valid), based on these categories, it can be concluded that the learning module developed is very valid and can be used as teaching material that can help students' learning process.
