Abstract
Knowing various angles & their characteristics, one of the basic competencies (KD) learned by students of SMPN 2 Kapur 9 grade VII. This basic competence contains material on Knowing the Types of Geometric Angles. Learning to Know the Types of Geometric Angles can be carried out well with interesting learning interactions between educators and students. Students of SMPN 2 Kapur 9 class VII are usually not used to reading books, students usually use smartphones more often to access technology. While the learning process that is only guided by teachers and textbooks is very influential on the motivation and learning outcomes of students. Augmented reality is a technology that has the ability to describe a certain process or simulation, which functions as an interactive medium in the learning process so as to increase student understanding. Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that adds virtual objects in a real environment, allowing users to interact in real time. This application aims to build a basic learning media application grouping bacteria with augmented reality to increase the interest of students in teaching and learning activities. Applications are made with unity using 3D displays with markeless techniques and using the ARCore SDk library. Based on tests collected at a distance of 5cm to 200 cm, 3D animation can appear, and animation can be displayed outdoors or indoors and can do location tracking anywhere with the condition that it has sufficient light intensity above 6 lux light intensity. As well as the results of user testing get a score of 82.47% with that the Learning Media Application Recognizes the Types of Geometric Angles Using Augmented Reality that is made can help students to learn the types of geometric angles in 3D animation.
