Abstract

Badminton in Indonesia has been known for a long time, so in Riau this sport is one of the sports that is quite popular among the people of Riau. However, badminton is not the main sport in Riau, especially in Pekanbaru City. The main provincial-level organization that facilitates badminton is the Provincial Executive (PENGPROV) of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) of Riau Province. However, currently the handling of data and information in the Riau Province PBSI provincial management, such as district/city administrator data, administrator data, players, badminton associations, training facilities, tournament schedules to player rankings, is still experiencing problems because it is done conventionally. The purpose of this study was to create an application that produces a system to assist and facilitate the PBSI Provincial Management of Riau Province in processing data and generating information such as district/city administrator data, administrator data, players, badminton associations, training facilities, tournament schedules to player rankings. The method used in this research process is to analyze the current work system and find problems that occur in the administration system, then build a new system with the stages of making data flow diagrams, table schematics, input and output designs and building a program using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as database storage. The built website can be used to process data and generate information such as district/city administrator data, administrator data, players, badminton associations, training facilities, tournament schedules to player rankings.
