Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between: (1) there is a relationship between teacher guidance in class and student achievement in economics: (2) there is a relationship between interest in learning and student achievement in economics: (3) the relationship between learning motivation with student achievement in the subject of Economics. This research was conducted on class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Batu, Jalan Sudirman no.17, Ujung Batu District, Rokan Hulu in April-July 2022. The subjects in this study were students of class XI Social Sciences which consisted of four classes, namely class XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, XI IPS 3, XI IPS 4 with a total of 143 students. The data collection technique was done by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used partial correlation. The results showed: (1) there is no relationship between teacher guidance in class and student achievement in economics with a correlation coefficient of 0.805 (2) there is no relationship between interest in learning and learning achievement in economics with a correlation coefficient of 0.129 ( 3) there is no relationship between learning motivation and student achievement in economics with a correlation coefficient of 0.315.
