Abstract
Projects are organized efforts to achieve goals, objectives, by utilizing the available budget and resources, and must be completed within a predetermined time limit. In project implementation, projects often experience obstacles that cause delays. Project delays can be caused by several factors, both internal and external factors. To minimize the potential for delays that occur, it is necessary to analyze the factors that cause delays so that they can be used as evaluation material to avoid delays that cause losses in terms of time and cost. The purpose of this research is to identify work items that experience delays, identify factors that cause delays, and compile a rating of the causes of delays that occur in the UPPKB Muara Lembu Revitalization project. This research uses a qualitative method using a questionnaire instrument, to determine the coefficient value of each item, validity and reliability tests are carried out on the questionnaire items with the help of SPSS 23.0, then each variable causing delay is described in the fault tree analysis model. Based on the analysis of the time schedule data, the work items that are experiencing delays in the UPPKB Muara Lembu Revitalization project are the work of the main office building, officers' mess, and the work of installing platform steel and WIM sensors. From the results of the distribution of the questionnaire, there are 32 valid indicators that are the factors causing the delay in the UPPKB Muara Lembu Revitalization project, where the 32 indicators are divided into 10 factors causing the delay. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient, the rating of each factor causing the delay is obtained where X2 (Managerial Factors) is the dominant factor with a coefficient of 0.746, then in second place X1 (Situation Factors) with a coefficient of 0.725, and in third place X6 (Equipment Factors) with a coefficient of 0.724.
