Abstract
Social quotient was essentially the ability to understand and interact socially with people in one's surroundings. The formulation of the problem in this regard was whether there was an influence of cooperative learning strategies on students’ social quotient in the subject of Islamic Education at Senior High School 1 Rimba Melintang, Rokan Hilir Regency. The aim of this research was to observe how the cooperative learning method, specifically the think pair share type, influenced the social intelligence at Senior High School 1 Rimba Melintang. Furthermore, the study aimed to determine whether there was an influence of the cooperative learning method, think pair share type, on the social quotient of eleventh-grade students in the Islamic Education subject at Senior High School 1 Rimba Melintang. This quantitative research attempted to determine the impact of cooperative learning strategies on social quotient. The majority of eleventh-grade students were Islamic faith. The data collection method involved questionnaires and instructions. The results of the data analysis showed a 69.3% influence of cooperative learning strategies on the social intelligence of students in the Islamic Education subject at Senior High School 1 Rimba Melintang, Rokan Hilir Regency, categorized as "strong," indicating that the hypothesis was accepted.
