Abstract
Inflation is one of the important economic indicators because it affects economic stability throughout the world including Indonesia which causes problems for the community and the state where the economic instability of the country result in an increase in the number of disturbances due to the reduction of many workers. As for one of the factors that pushes up an inflation so that it results in an increase in the price of basic goods that have increased significantly. The purpose of the research is to find out how the accuracy of the K – Nearest Neighbor and Support Vector Machine methods in analyzing the comments of the Indonesia people regarding the impact of inflation that occurs which contains several classes namely positive and negative. The result of this study are the application of the K – Nearest Neighbor method getting an accuracy value of 86% and the Support Vector Machine Method getting an accuracy value of 97%.
