Abstract
This study develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic ventilation system to improve indoor air quality. Using Arduino and gas sensors, the system detects carbon dioxide (CO2) and hazardous chemicals, and then automatically adjusts ventilation. The system also leverages a Telegram bot to enable remote manual control, providing flexibility and convenience to users. The main objective of this study is to improve occupant health and comfort by optimizing air quality through responsive ventilation control. The system was tested to measure the accuracy of gas detection and ventilation control efficiency, as well as to ensure the reliability of communication between IoT devices and the Telegram bot. The results show that this automatic ventilation system can reduce health risks from polluted air and improve energy efficiency, offering a practical solution for better and safer indoor air management.
