Abstract

In this era of technology which is increasingly dominating current developments, especially in the field of education, basically technology that is utilized properly will really help and make things easier in various aspects of the field, especially education itself. Of course, every university and various levels of education are competing to implement technology systems that make it easier to support effective performance in a university. Because apart from being used as a highly interactive learning tool, technology in the form of an information system that can be accessed from a computer and applied in managing all academic matters can certainly increase the time efficiency of the administrative system of an institute/university that still applies a manual system. Therefore, the use of technology applied in an institute will be very useful in making time efficient in the required academic processes. In this research, we built a web-based administration system that was implemented at the Dar Aswaja Islamic College in Rokan Hilir, where this system will process correspondence needed by students at the institute. In the testing stage, the implementation of this system was carried out by giving questionnaires to 20 people consisting of 16 students and 4 academic staff with a final result of 91.6% which had a very satisfactory performance for implementation.
