Abstract

The cognitive aspect of children is a very important aspect to be developed at an early age. Among them by using constructive games and science experiments. This research was conducted aiming to see the effect of constructive games and science experiments on children's cognitive development. The type of research used is pre-experimental design with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. The population in this study were all 15 students in group B of Sakinah Kindergarten. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. Data collection methods used are tests, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, to analyze the data using the t-test which is used to see the difference between before and after treatment. The results showed that there was a very significant effect of constructive games and science experiments on group B students aged 5-6 years at Sakinah Kindergarten
