Abstract

A personnel management information system is needed because the processing of personnel information at the Kampar district regent's office is still done manually. This causes a lot of data input errors that cause the data to be inaccurate. Likewise with employee documents, due to manual document management, many employee documents are damaged or even lost, thus disrupting the smooth running of administrative activities. Therefore we need an information system that is capable of collecting personal data, processing employee data, class rank history data, periodic salary increase data, grading training data, document management and employee recapitulation per work unit as well as reports according to the administrative needs of the Kampar district regent's office. The personnel information system is designed using the waterfall method. For the method of analysis and design using flowcharts and DFD (Data Flow Diagram) as the process model and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) as the data model. Based on the results of the blackbox, it was concluded that the personnel management information system at the Kampar Regent's office could facilitate the process of collecting staffing data, processing employee data, class rank history data, periodic salary increase data, grading training data, document management and providing reports in accordance with the format required. required by the Administrative subsection of the Expert Staff and Personnel Leader at the Kampar district regent's office.
