Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is an environment that incorporates 3D virtual objects into a real environment in real-time because in this case it is due to a combination of programming scripts and 3D art that is embodied into an application simultaneously. An augmented reality application built based on Android, where the camera works as an input source by reading and tracking the terrain with a tracking system. Morris Garage (MG) car sales promotion media is a tool or form of intermediary used to disseminate information. Morris Garage (MG) car sales promotion media still uses conventional media, such as brochures, banners, stickers, posters, newspapers, billboards and others. As a result, the attractiveness of Morris Garge (MG) car buyers is reduced because information about the types of cars available at Morris Garage (MG) car dealerships is not clearly described, especially for consumers who want to buy a new vehicle. Then a Morris Garage (MG) car sales promotion media is needed for consumers who want to have a new, more creative and attractive vehicle that can provide a 3D visualization image using augmented reality technology. With this promotional media application that visualizes cars in 3D using augmented reality technology, it is hoped that prospective buyers will get more interesting information about the specifications of the cars at the Morris Garage (MG) car dealership. Based on the results of testing the application to the user, the percentage index obtained is 94%, so this application is recommended as a promotional medium for Morris Garage (MG) car sales.
