Abstract

Slum settlements in Indonesia have taken place rapidly and are less controlled in recent years and coupled with the rapid development of residential areas due to the rapid population growth and also urbanization which has led to the emergence of slum problems. One of the slum areas in the city of Pekanbaru is located in Kelurahan. Kampung Baru, especially in areas that are delineated for slum areas, namely RT 02/RW 04, RT 01/RW 05 and RT 01/RW 06. Researchers are trying to do what has not been done in RP2KPKPK, namely by exploring what information needs to be addressed based on community preferences. which the nature of the processing carried out by researchers is Bottom Up Planning, namely the Community Action Plan (CAP) approach. The aim of this research is Handling Slum Areas with the Community Action Plan (CAP) Approach in Kampung Baru Village. This study used a Mixed Research Method (Mix Method), while the analysis used was Descriptive Statistical Analysis for the First target, Qualitative Descriptive Analysis to identify Community Readiness and Preferences and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Analysis with the help of the Expert Choice V11 application for Identification of Determination of Handlers Slum Residential Areas based on Community Preferences and for the determination of Experts is carried out by non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling type. The results of this study indicate that treatment that needs to be prioritized according to the weighting carried out by the Expert is Provision of Safe Drinking Water Management (0.295), Provision of Waste Management (0.244), Provision of Fire Protection Facilities and Infrastructure (0.171), Provision ofWastewaterManagement (0.116),AdditionofEnvironmentalDrainage(0.077),Rehabilitation of Environmental Roads(0.063),RepairofResidentialBuildings (0.035)
