Abstract
Datuk Bandar – Simpang Samak road construction project, Pangkalan Kerinci District, which aims to build class 3 roads as facilities and infrastructure for the community in carrying out daily activities. Machine productivity is a key factor in determining the success of a construction project and in this case focus on A-foundation layer aggregates using machine assistance. Productivity is a comparison between output and input or between the production capacity of heavy equipment and the total resources used. The purpose of this study is to calculate the amount of heavy equipment productivity, calculate heavy equipment needs, calculate heavy equipment composition between research and field. This study used the time study method. Time Study method is a method that studies the time used to measure heavy equipment productivity in the field by determining standard time for work. Observation time starts from 10.00 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 16.00. The results of the study obtained that the productivity of the excavator was 1132,299 m3 / day. Dump truck productivity 6,153 m3/day. Motor grader productivity 1097,817 m3/day. Vibrator roller productivity 544,684 m3/day. Water Truck Productivity 497,994 m3/day. The need for excavator heavy equipment is 1 unit. 10 units of dump trucks. Motor grader as many as 1. Vibrator roller as many as 2. Water Trucks as many as 2 units. Comparison of excavator heavy equipment 1 unit while in the field 1 unit. Dump trucks 10 units while in the field 10 units. Motor grader 1 unit while in the field 2 units. Vibrator roller 2 units while in the field 2 units. Water trucks 2 units while in the field 2 units.
