Abstract

This study intends to find out the meaning of playing Mobile Legemd on Daily Leaving Staff for the General Secretariat of the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province. In which there is interaction and meaning in playing games with freelance workers. This study focuses on freelance daily workers at the general bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Riau province using symbolic interaction theory. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Subjects in the study of daily labor employees with 3 informants and 2 supporting informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation, interviews and observation. Techniques to check the validity of the data using the participation of researchers and triangulation of sources. This study uses symbolic interaction by looking at the mind, self and society of freelance workers. The results of this study are Daily Freelancers in playing Mobile Legend. By using the theory of symbolic interaction, there are a number of things that become motives as reasons for freelance daily workers at the general bureau of Regional Secretariat of Riau Province. The reason for freelance daily workers to play mobile legend games is based on the idea that there are entertainment motives and competitive motives. Related to the self, there is self-existence and narcissism. In connection with the community seeing how the views of the people around the informant towards the informant as a mobile legend player among employees of the Freelance Daily Worker at the regional secretariat general bureau of Riau Province.
