Abstract

This study intends to find out the Symbolic Interactions of Vespa Fans in the Riau Right-Engine Vespa Group in Pekanbaru City and how the interactions are carried out by the Right-hand Engine Riau Group as Vespa fans in Pekanbaru City. Where there is a Vespa community that only exists in cities and people do not know or do not reach the interior or villages in Riau with the right engine Riau more embracing fellow Vespa fans in Riau. This study focuses on the righthand drive Riau group by looking at symbolic interactions. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Subjects in the study took informants from the Riau right-hand machine group, 3 informants and 3 informants from the people of Pekanbaru city. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation, interviews and observation. Techniques to check the validity of the data using the participation of researchers and triangulation of sources. This study uses symbolic interaction by looking at the mind, self and society in the right-hand Riau group. The results of the study used symbolic interaction theory by George Herbert Mead with three important concepts, namely mind, self and society, so there are several things that form the basis for the reasons or findings of symbolic interactions carried out by the righthand machine riau group. Symbolic interaction in the Riau Vespa group Right machine, that is, based on the mind, there is entertainment or hobbies and increasing relationships or friends. Related to oneself, there is self-existence that is carried out by the right machine riau. In connection with the community seeing how the views of the people around the informant towards the informant as a Vespa fan in the right-hand engine Riau group, there is a positive impact or support for the right-hand engine Riau among Vespa fans.
